Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

Hopefully 2013 is treating you well thus far. Hopefully you are moving towards accomplished  those resolutions you've created.  I don't typically set NYE resolutions but this year I wanted to be more adventurous and my NYE resolution  is to experience new experiences .  What I mean by that is to Go out and try new things like ridding on a hot air balloon, sky diving , sailing etc. Do some of the items on  my bucket list.
A few weeks ago I was able to check one of those items Skiing!  I had my first skiing experience with the fiance and some of his pals.We rented a lake house located in the  Poconos , PA  and  skied at Camelback Mountain.  I must admit skiing is a lot harder than it appears it involves a lot of lower body strength. I was pretty terrible at it, however I was very determined to learn how to slow down &  brake. High standards huh? This Florida girl can barely walk in snow.
I do however intend to continue skiing I want to try snowboarding as well.  Who knows maybe I'll be better at that.
Here are some of the pictures:

Till next time,

Update and small haul

Hey There!
It's been a while I know ... Life got in the way. I recently relocated to another state. What a stressful event. Moving is tough, multiply that by 20 when it's across multiple state lines.   I must admit I miss family and friends tremendously.

I was really looking forward to having a H&M store within driving distance.  Yes I said it  typed it. It's sad but this was Pro for moving.

I was proud of myself during my recent trip to H& M I didn't buy half of the store. To be honest, I haven't evaluated my wardrobe since the move so I didn't want to go crazy.

Here's what I got....

I was surprised at how much I loved the high waist mint jeans ... I still need some help in the ab department but hopefully I'll start working out this coming week :: finger crossed::

Xoxo,
Jess

Shopping Hiatus

So I decided to go on a shopping hiatus for one I am relocating to another state. You never truly know how much stuff you have until you decide to move and the fact that I am in the early stages of hoarding doesn't help. I love DIY's and come up with ways to use random items my only problem is I never execute the idea and am stuck with tons of unfinished projects. I also realised that I've done a lot of shopping these past months.I have a weakness for sales and these last couple of week it's been sale after sale. ahhhh! My goal is to shop my closet. I did some spring cleaning/ packing for the move and discovered I have a few some a good amount of clothes w/ tags still attached so I proposed to myself if I purchase an item( not counting past season winter items)and don't use it within 25+ days from purchase day I must return it because I will not use it. I tend to buy clothes in case I go here or there to have them rotting away in my closet. I can turn this Hiatus into a four month challenge. I want to start the challenge @ $100$75 $60 monthly for beauty & fashion. I will admit this month will be challenging because its my birth month but I'm determined to get my spending under control. I figured I can keep a running tab & use savings from past months for current month purchases if needed to.
 Wish me luck my friends,
 Jess

P.S. I should defintely add a sweet prize @ the end like a designer bag or shoes... Good idea huh?

Weekend In Review

I attended a Comic Book convention this week and had a blast. I mingled with great artist and got the cutest chibi painting ever! I have a newfound appreication for Comic books & the indivudauls who put in countless hours to create a few minutes of bliss for kids & adults all around the world.
On to the outfit, I don’t tend to wear sneakers @ all but opt to since I knew I would be doing a lot of walking & standing. After picking out my comfy /casual outfit, I decided to wash my hair & go curly. I also added a headband with the cutest black bow( i felt like Hello Kitty) which can bee seen in the last 2 pics.
Hope everyone is enjoying what’s left of February.
Laterz <3,
Jess

Stripes!

Anyone that knows me knows I love stripes! I can’t get enough of them. They look amazing & can help you appear slimmer if done properly.
For the record, I am very happy with my weight & shape. : D

I need a tan ASAP I'm too pale.
Just like a vampire.
I'm currently reading the 2nd book in the Sookie Stackhouse series.
