I'm Back!!!

You didnt even know I was gone.. huh? Well Im back from my trip to NYC I love that city. The sites, sounds and people.So fashionable. I truly love NY.
There are no taxes on clothes! How Awesome is that?

Ive been working on a few DIY projects. I recently created 3 identical bars of soap. They came out quite nice I might add. I am currently making a halter top for my BFF. I hope she likes it. Ill include pics at the end.
I am really loving my Do It Yourself projects... the feeling you get once its completed is priceless. I want to create everything and anything. It's a great feeling.

Before leaving to NYC I placed an order with CherryCulture.com they were providing free shipping so I couldn't resit. I got a couple of NYX products I haven't used them yet.I'll post a review once I try the products out. Weekend!

Hey There!!!
This past week went by pretty fast! I started running again. Boy it is so hard to start working out again. It makes you want to kick yourself for stopping in the first place. The run went well... I felt like I was dying. (to me that means that I worked out pretty hard. :P ) I need to get bug spray asap because these damn bugs don't play.
I spent Saturday running a few errands. I stopped at two pet stores to buy toys/supplies for Dexter,Tweets and Beep. I love spoiling those birds! I purchased a body ball/resistance ball along with a jump rope. I plan on working out at home a minimum of 3 times a week and run twice a week. I also found some shoes on clearance at Walmart the shoes were $7. I loved the color and thought the heel would be perfect for any workplace not too flat but not too high.

I love sunny days. I'm not much of an outdoor person but I do appreciate nice weather.I've been wanting to post a weekly outfit of the day. I figured if I did this I can forced myself to fully utilize all the articles of clothing I own and recreate outfits with clothes I already have.

Update!

It's been a while since I posted anything... I've been really busy and a bit uninspired I must admit. I recently purchased a parakeet. I named him Dexter. For the first two days he would stand very still and just stare out into space. He looked kinda creepy mass murder 'ish. (lol) So I told my boyfriend his name should be Dexter and he agreed. Thank Goodness! He wanted to name the bird Laser Beak. Could you imagine?!? Damn Deception fans! :P
He's sorry cute and sweet now ... but he has a hidden dark side just like Dex . (lol)I'm currently trying to teach him to talk. Wish me luck!

I also have two Zebra Finches...Beep & Tweet. They sing to me every morning. They are messy but cute.

Promise I will write at least weekly. I want to post up different look and reviews as well.

Creativity!!!!

During recent trips to the mall I've been very unhappy with the selection. I cant seem to find anything that draws my interest.everything is so blah! I'm not feeling it. The few things I fall in love with are supper expensive urgh what luck right? Well I want to start creating shirts and what not. I use to do it all the time for my dolls when I was younger. I made clothes for my dolls more than I played with them. So keep an eye out for future post on my creations.

BTW I'm loving the weather... a clear blue sky is always beautiful. Enjoy the day.

I love Sales! Getting great products for less is the best! : D
I went to my local Sally's Beauty Supply about two weeks ago and noticed a small table setup at the entrance. The sale associate( she's a sweetheart and I completely forgot her name) mentioned that everything on the table was reduced an additional 50% from the sale price. I got great deals on 3 nail polishes and a curling iron. I got the curling iron for $7 and each nail polish for $1.50 ... China Glaze and Orly for $1.50!!!! I'm still in shock! See checking out the Clearance section is always a good idea.

Biking!

When I said I would die trying I didn't mean it literally but I was close to it today.Goodness!
Let's begin..
So some friends and I made plans to go bike riding. Bike ridding sounds safe or so I thought. The last time I rode a bike I was ten maybe eleven years old. The bike I was using was too big for me and every time I got on the bike it left a bruise my leg.
So we made plans to go to Shark Valley trail but we all overslept and were late. So we opt to go to Key Biscayne. So it's mid day,the sun is beaming and here I am riding a bike through sand on an empty stomach. Not a good idea! I started feeling very weak and fatigued. I stopped riding at that point and as I reached for my Gatorade everything turned white. I lost my vision for a couple of seconds. I started chugging my Gatorade and my vision instantly returned. I was so relieved. I've never witness anything like that. Do not miss around with heat exhaustion I learned my lesson.
After that we stopped for lunch and had a wonderful time riding. We then jumped into the bay at the end to cool off.

So my new years resolutions were to get in shape, take better care of my hair and accessorize my outfits. I've kept my word so far with my hair...working out and accessorizing not so much. So this blog is my attempt to make good on my resolution or die trying. (hopefully that isn't the case.)I'll also blog about random things as well. I'm warning you again of time.
